SKC Mixed Cellulose Ester (MCE) Membrane Filters are an industry standard for aerosol and particulate sampling in industrial hygiene applications. Manufactured from biologically inert mixtures of cellulose acetate and cellulose nitrate, these filters provide reliable sample collection and feature a very low backgroud in trace metals and superior dissolvability in standard acid digestion procedures, making them highly effective for accurate elemental analysis. Available as filters only, matched-weight filter pairs, preloaded cassettes, Nano-Neat® cassettes for trace-level metal environments, and certifiedBestChek® cassettes for asbestos sampling, SKC MCE Membrane Filters support a wide range of occupational and environmental air sampling applications. They are hydrophilic, autoclavable, naturally low in metal background, and compatible with dilute acids, dilute bases, and aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbons.
