This aluminum Reusable PPI® Sampler features four impactors arranged in parallel for precise thoracic dust sampling at 2 L/min that meets ISO 7708/CEN thoracic criteria. The blue color identifies it as a 2 L/min thoracic model. Requires substrates, filters, and supports purchased separately.

Impaction-based thoracic model Reusable PPI Samplers contain four impactors arranged in parallel that provide the most precise match to the entire ISO 7708/CEN thoracic criteria when operated at 2 L/min. Thoracic Reusable PPI Samplers are ideal for metalworking fluids (NIOSH Method 5524 and TLV), hard metals with Co, and tungsten carbide as Co. Load with NIOSH Method 7908-specified quartz filter or with OSHA ID-113-specified MCE filter for sampling sulfuric acid. The user-loaded pre-oiled impaction substrates effectively trap larger particles for sample integrity.
