Gloves and other personal protective equipment (PPE) can be evaluated for effectiveness in actual field use conditions with PERMEA-TEC Pads. Chemical penetration through PPE is indicated by the PERMEA-TEC Pads changing color (normal sensitivity range, from 0.5 to 5 mg). Send PERMEA-TEC Pads to a laboratory for analysis to identify the chemical (solvent or other compound) penetrating the gloves or garment.
